How it Works
02
Set the table
Use our invites, run sheet, and simple menu ideas. Keep it friendly and relaxed.
03
Share the moment
Eat, talk, and pray in a natural way. Keep it real and neighbourly.
04
Repeat
If it fills up, start another table in the next street.
What Is Open House?
Open House is a simple expression of church built around the table.
It is where people gather to eat, open Scripture, pray, share life and grow as disciples of Jesus.
No stage. No big production. No pressure.
Just real community, real conversations and real transformation.
Open Houses starts in the book of Acts, applied by The Open Church in Perth but now serve believers wherever God opens a home, anywhere in the world.
Your lounge room can become a place where disciples are made and communities are changed.
Why It Matters
In a noisy, complicated world, people long for something real.
Something relational.
Something that feels like family again.
Open Houses restore the simplicity of the early church:
-
breaking bread,
-
opening Bibles,
-
praying for one another,
-
and living on mission in everyday life.
They are not a program.
They are a way of life.

A Movement for Every Home
Your home, your story and your table matter more than you know.
God builds His church through ordinary people who open ordinary spaces to Him.
Whether you’re in Perth, Bali, Berlin or a small rural town,
you can start an Open House where you are.

Our heart
We believe neighbours can taste and see the goodness of God when hospitality is shared. Tables, streets, and parks can become places of grace. We keep it simple: welcome, eat, share, pray.
We also commit to the Scriptures. Hosts receive a short, simple guide with a few Bible readings, questions, and a run sheet.

Nourish Your Soul with Community
Connection.
